In Canada - www.cegraphics.com In Florida - www.speedgraphics.net They might be able to help you? ------------------ Fredd http://www.wallpaperetc.com/novel3.html Eric.........here's another border that is 5.5 inches wide: http://www.lelandswallpaper.com/miscracing.htm This message has been edited by CJ on 11-26-2002 at 04:36 PM I'm also looking into using black & white floor tiles sold by Race Deck. http://www.racedeck.com/racedeck.htm Good Luck, This message has been edited by JimE on 11-26-2002 at 05:04 PM Fredd Here are some pics of the floors in two of our garages: We bought the materials from a local tile store and did the work ourselves. ------------------ New pictures in Personal Scrapbook (9/26/02) This message has been edited by Scotty on 11-27-2002 at 07:09 AM Right Todd,,,,when monkeys fly out of your butt Norm and Pat - really nice garages,,,,inlays are sweet. Scotty, Yes, we made the inlays - the flag part we bought was a 12" square of checkered black & white tile (got it at Home Depot), the rest of the surrounding area - we created using pieces cut from either a 8" black or white tile depending on the space to be covered. It was a little time consuming but certainly worth it. Thanks to all for the compliments on the floors. It wasn't hard to do, but one of those jobs you say that you'll never do again. We have said that three times now. Remember, when laying tile - shiny side up. ------------------ New pictures in Personal Scrapbook (9/26/02) Thanks Richard RJ...Get on your hands and knees and run a window sticker scraper over every inch of floor first. make sure the floor is smooooooth. Get a laser level and take ALL the time you need to lay out the first course of tiles. Mark the floor as the glue is translucent and dries clear. Center the first course between the garage door so it is symmetrical. The glue used is fantastic....It is applied with a 1/32 groove trowel. Let it set for an hour before laying any tile. You then have a 24 hour working time. Temps MUST be above 65. if you have a helper wiping the tiles and handing them to you, you can finish a 20x 20 garage in 2 hours. I avge. 9 tiles per minute. Cutting is a breeze...score and snap! Just tuck each tile tight into the previous course and make sure your lines don't drift. But the tiles are so perfectly manufactured, it's kind of hard to drift. Good luck! No fear...and if you screw up, just remind yourself it's just a garage...that took a lot of pressure off us....LOL> Richard Get a laser level and take ALL the time you need to lay out the first course of tiles. Mark the floor as the glue is translucent and dries clear. Center the first course A little trick if you are laying down a chalk line for your grids, spray the chalk line with hair spray . The line will stay a long time.Eric Wolf Does anyone know where I can get a stick on stripe or wall paper border about 6" wide in black and whitre checkers for my garage? Jim, I got some of the same MacTac checkers at Home Depot but you need a smooth surface for it to stick.
I would like to use the flooring you posted but found it a little pricey, so for the flooring I am going to use a VA tile.

Richard Jackson Eric, thanks for the info, very useful. The floor scrapper idea is a good one. Like you say it is just the garage. My son and I will attempt it next week. pumpkin quote:
